MixerLogger

This is a tool used for debugging modpacks which scans your mods for mods which have annotations associated with common Mixer APIs such as SpongeMixin, Tuna-Bytes (soon), PizzaMixin(soon), and AssistMixer(soon) as well as some Aspect Orientated Programming APIs. For all the files that meet these criterias, it lists the name, the jar file it is in, the known targets (except for ones which do not specify the targets in the file itself like AssistMixer), the Class References, the Method References, and the Field References, with the possibility to add even more information in the future. On launchers which support System.out.println it will show the information in the console, the logs are also saved in (.)minecraft/logs/MixerLogger.log so you can access it. This is helpful if you are making a very large modpack and one of these breaks the game, this will allow you to have a better idea where it can be coming from. It loads itself before or during SpongeMixin or similar tools in most cases. The code for this is largelly loader independent meaning with a basic entrypoint it can be supported on most loaders and even most games in Java. Same Jar is used in more than 1 loader. Should work with Abstraction layer mods like Special Compatibility Operation, NeoFromTheMatrix, or Sintrya Connector just fine. The logs will be a tiny bit hard to read, but ideally anyone who is using this will be using ⌘+F or Ctrl+F to find specific peices of information. An example of a individual mixer class's info is as followsClass Name: net.fabricmc.fabric.mixin.client.model.BakedModelManagerMixinTargets: [net.minecraft.class_1092]ClassRef: [net.minecraft.class_1087, org.spongepowered.asm.mixin.Mixin, java.util.Map, net.minecraft.class_1092, net.fabricmc.api.Environment, net.fabricmc.fabric.mixin.client.model.BakedModelManagerMixin, net.fabricmc.api.EnvType, org.spongepowered.asm.mixin.Shadow, java.lang.Object, net.fabricmc.fabric.impl.client.model.BakedModelManagerHooks, net.minecraft.class_2960]MethodRef: [java.util.Map.get(Ljava/lang/Object;)Ljava/lang/Object;]FieldRef: [net.fabricmc.fabric.mixin.client.model.BakedModelManagerMixin.field_5408:Ljava/util/Map;]Originating JAR: fabric-api-0.75.1+1.19.2.jar-------------------- But it can be more daunting for much larger ones LimitationsAt the moment only Sponge Mixin is supported but others are soon planned and we also plan to list more info about modified methods and RefMap parsing. This also only goes 1 level deep for nested jars and javassist is bundled (which could conflict with a few mods but most other mods run AFTER this one so you would already have your information by the time such package conflict could happen). This only scans existing Mixer classes not ones created during runtime. This can make the game possibly unstable and also makes the game take longer to load so if you are not using it I would not suggest keeping it in your mods folder. Also atm only the folder called "mods" is supported but this will change. Platform support.FeatureCreepFeatureCreep 4.0 Pre Release 18 will come with this built in but it will need to be enabled in the FeatureCreep config (in the etc directory in your Minecraft Folder). However this jar supports FeatureCreep 4 Pre Release 17 to an extent if not being run on one of the other mentioned platforms. If you are on MCForge and have FeatureCreep this mod will confict due to both having the same packages at least on 1.17 due to Module changes. On platforms which do not come with SpongeMixin or a supported mixer it will need to be installed normally. The FeatureCreep built-in version will be the best maintained. The Pre-17 and earlier version of the mod will duplicate on Pre-18 or newer and is generally unsupported. Works on games outside of Minecraft written in Java and can be used on other loaders like LiteLoader and Rift and NeoForge and possibly older versions of MC Forge if FeatureCreep is installed. MinecraftForgeShould work on 1.17+, 1.16.5 and earlier has changes in the ITransformationService making it hard to do in the same file. FabricMCShould work on any version and in non-Minecraft games. May work on QuiltMC and other FabricMC derivatives but it is untested. Legacy and Cursed Legacy Fabric should also work.

Random Things

One of the remarkable aspects of the Random Things mod is its versatility. Unlike other mods that focus on a specific theme or concept, Random Things offers an amazing mix of features that cater to a wide range of playstyles. From quirky gadgets and handy tools to whimsical creatures and enchanting potions, this mod adds an element of surprise and discovery to your gameplay. The number of features offered by this mod are too long to be listed here, so let's take a look at some of the cooler features that will elevate your gameplay.Turn your game world into a vibrant paradise by dyeing grass in any of the vanilla colours! Follow these simple steps: use a silk touch shovel to collect grass, craft grass seeds from the harvested grass by placing the grass block in a crafting table. Then place the grass seed and a vanilla dye to craft a coloured grass seed. Then, by right-clicking with a coloured grass seed on a patch of dirt, watch as it magically transforms into grass matching the seed's hue. The coloured grass spreads naturally, adding a pop of colour everywhere it goes, while respectfully not overshadowing the normal grass. Bring life to your landscapes with this exciting feature! The Advanced Redstone Repeater is a redstone repeater with configurable turn on / turn off delay. Unlike a normal redstone torch which just emits either a redstone signal of 15 or 0 with an advanced one you can configure the signal strength for the two states freely. It’s green while powered and red while unpowered. All of these Biome Blocks change their color depending on the biome they are in. The Biome Crystals needed to craft them can be found in all dungeon chests. The Fluid Display is a decorative block that can take on the textures of fluids. Just right click one with any kind of fluid container to set the fluid displayed. Right clicking it with something else will switch it between the flowing and stationary fluid texture. Shift right clicking it with an empty hand will rotate it.The Online Detector is a block that emits a redstone signal when a player you specify is online. Simply right click the block to open up its gui and input the name of the player you want to detect. While the specified player is online the block will emit a redstone signal, otherwise it won’t. The Sided Block of Redstone works like a normal Block of Redstone except it only outputs power on one side. The Quartz Lamp emits a light level of 15. However the light of this lamp is not actually visible. It still prevents stuff like mob spawning though. Quartz Glass is a block that is not solid for players and solid for every other entity. For crafting recipes and information on dozens of other features added by this mod, checkout this wiki.Discover the exciting features of this exceptional Forge mod by exploring the captivating screenshots provided below. Thermal Expansion

Thermal Expansion is an add-on for Thermal Foundations, the original Thermal mod (predating even Thermal Foundation) going back to 1.2.5 and provides much of the tech in the series. Some things it offers to the series are:IndustryEnergy (The Thermal series is where red stone Flux came from, which would eventually be integrated into MC Forge as Forge Energy)Energy GenerationStorageResource ProcessingAnd more.It is one of the best and oldest tech mods and provides many configurations for mod pack makers, server owners, players and more. It has different configs for both client and server. The thermal series is ever-growing, and new stuff is always added. There is a large selection of Machines, Devices, Storage devices, parts, and more. The Thermal Series is one of the largest tech mod series in Minecraft modding.

BdLib

BdLib is a Scala Library used for various mods and adds different pieces of generic code.It is mostly written for bdew’s mods but under the MIT Licence, so anyone can use it if they give proper credit. The library contains many hooks which can be used for various things. Here are just some of the many things BdLib has hooks forBlocksCapabilitiesCommandsConfigGUIInventoryItemsData, KeepData & Data GenerationMultiBlocksNBTNetworkingPowerRenderingResourcesRotationTilesSensorsEventsMathsAnd much more. It is one of the larger libraries. There are some things to keep in mind, though, such as how it is written in Scala; it may not do too well if you do not know Scala and may not work too well with Java code in a standard IDE without Scala enabled, it also requires a language adapter to play.Another thing to remember is that it is MC Forge only, so you cannot take full advantage of porting to multiple loaders if you choose to go with this.
If you are a player, you need BdLib to play some mods. Some of the mods that use BdLib include:* Gendustry* Pressure Pipes* Advanced Generators* AE2 Stuff* Compacter* Factorium* Proxy* Simple Covers* Technobauble* And MoreSince BdLib is written in Scala, you need a Scala Language adapter to use in newer versions of Minecraft Forge (Like 1.13 and newer). For this, they recommend Scalable Cat’s Force.

COFH Core

COFH Core is a mod which I used for lots of TeamCoFH and KingLemmingCoFH mods, including the Thermal Mods. COFH mods have been around for a long time, since 2013 or maybe even older (and have changed a lot over time), and are also some of the most popular mods. CoFH Core is required to run many of these mods. CoFH Core may be used for other mods, but the documentation is not always current. The licence for many of these mods is quite strict, though 3rd party mods exist. It has a lot in common with the older CoFH Lib. Some of the mods which use CoFH Core include:Applied IntegrationsArcher’s ParadoxAUNISRedstone FluxBetween OresBig ReactorsBiomes o Plenty ToolsCalculatorCoFH: Vanilla+ SatchelsCoFH: Vanilla+ ToolsCompacted Tools & BlocksEnhanced InventoriesEnsorcellationImmersive TechnologyJaded TweaksAnd many more
Many of the mods that use CoFH are very popular, so many mods may use it, though it does not do very much by itself. One of the drawbacks, though, is it is harder to access the source code, and the documentation is not always up to date, so making mods with it may not be worth it. Additionally, it is exclusive to Minecraft Forge. Additionally, the APIs change a lot so that some things can be removed. Lots of the stuff now is good for multiplayer support.

Fabric Language Kotlin

Fabric Language Kotlin is one of the many Fabric Language adapters for Kotlin. Language adapters let you write mods in programming languages other than pure Java (often but not always JVM-based languages). There are many big Fabric mods which use Kotlin includingAdorn    Inventory Tweaks    AE Additions – ExtraCells2 ForkBountiful DeftuLib    Hex     Casting   Industrial     Revolution    Inventerio   Kambrik    Lakeside    LibrarianLib    Level Up HP MirageFairy2023    Ping Wheel    Plethora Peripherals    Roughly Enough Trades    Roughly Enough Loot Tables    RSWires    TerrarianSlimes    Woods and MiresZoomify and many more. Kotlin is primarily a JVM-based programming language like Groovy or Scala and is in many ways considered a newer Scala (though Scala is still being developed), though it does not only compile to JVM, it can also compile to native or to JavaScript or even its own bytecode format. Fabric Language Kotlin is meant to be used with the JVM variant though.Kotlin as mentioned before has some in common with Scala and a little in common with Crystal. Kotlin Language is a must-use for many people, many people really like it, while others do not. One issue you have is if you use Kotlin you may have compatibility issues with lesser-known tool chains that you may port your mod too. But if you want to use Kotlin because you prefer it you can use this language adapter. There are reasons to prefer Kotlin if you like some of the features or if you want to also do things like Android development (which has recently started to recommend Kotlin over Java which it had previously). If you use Kotlin it is suggested you use IntelliJ because they are made by the same company and eclipse does not have quite as good of support for it.For players, you should be able to just install the mod in your mods folder. If you are a developer you will need to take extra steps and requires the user already know a little bit about using Kotlin with Gradle (but Groovy DSL can still be used unless you want Kotlin DSL). FabricMC has a tutorial which can be used with basic instructions about getting started. Fabric Language Kotlin does not rely on any specific version of Minecraft, just on Fabric loader.

AtomicStryker's Infernal Mobs

Infernal mobs is a mod, that adds custom-made diablo-like modifiers to mobs. Every mob in the game has a chance to spawn with a different rarity. Each rarity increases the mob's HP, damage, or adds other abilities. These mobs make the game harder, so there is also an increased reward for killing each of them, you can get up to quadruple experience gain, and randomly generated enchanted items. The mod should also work for mobs added with other mods.List of modifiers:1UP - Mob heals fully, once, upon getting lowAlchimist - throws Potions at youBerserk - Mob deals double damage but hurts itself on attackingBlastoff - Tosses Players into the airBulwark - Mob has 50% damage resistanceChoke - Drown on land, hit Mob to breathe for a momentCloaking - Invisibility Potion effect on MobDarkness - Blindness Potion effect on the PlayerEnder - can teleport dodge attacks, reflecting damage on the PlayerExhaust - Exhaust Potion effect on the PlayerFiery - sets Player on FireGhastly - shoots FireballsGravity - knocks back or pulls PlayersLifesteal - heals from attackingNinja - can teleport dodge attacks, reflecting damage on the PlayerPoisonous - poisons the Player on attackQuicksand - Slow Potion effect on the PlayerRegen - heals Health backRust - causes high amounts of wear on weapons and armor when foughtSapper - Hunger Potion effect on PlayerSprint - high movement speed burstsSticky - can snatch Items the Player attacks withStorm - calls down LightningVengeance - reflects a portion of all damage doneWeakness - Weakness Potion effect on the PlayerWebber - spawns Webs at the Players legsWither - Wither effect

Tinkers construct

Tinkers Construct is a mod that adds a new progression system into the game and many new progression tiers of Minecraft tools and weapons. The mod offers a unique experience by creating custom and special tools from parts. The player can make those parts from different materials. Every material that can be used for crafting now has unique effects. Those effects vary from the durability of the finished tool to the effects which completely change how the tool works. The ability to combine multiple parts for your tools creates almost infinite possibilities. Every tool then can be upgraded to get similar effects like enchants from vanilla Minecraft. The mod offers a custom-created way of crafting those items. Your first steps will require you to create the first patterns, which allow the creation of basic and limited tools. The next milestone is the creation of a huge multi-block structure called smeltery. You can use it for smelting metallic ores into more advanced metal parts with better durability and many other effects. The mod offers a lot of customization in the config file and a lot of integration into other mods, which adds even more replayability and uniqueness.  Note: Mod requires Mantle to work!

Shatter

Shatter is a mod for Minecraft which has a creative Death Animation when you kill a mob you get a slow animation of the mob fading out and floating and their body parts separating. The effects are quite different on each mob. The Blaze seems to have very good animation, but others such as the Zombie horse also have good animation. The mod is client-side only which means that you can play with it on a server without the mod installed and still get the effects (In fact it warns you if you try to run it on a server.). The mod is also compatible with OptiFine, putting it ahead of many other rendering mods which do not work with Optifine. The mod still works even if a mob is killed by another mob, the animation will still show up. The drops show up as normal and the mob just fades away and does not affect the game in any way that could make it incompatible with servers the mod also works on players meaning you can see your enemies fade away after they die while playing on a server (though the other players will not have the same animation and it is cosmetic only). This mod is for MC Forge 1.16.5 and requires iChunUtil (Don’t let that scare you away though, lots of other great mods use it). The animations do seem to have some drawbacks though, the animations are a little basic, sometimes the fading mob will just get pushed back and fade away with little moving of their body parts, and in general, the animation does not do much unless you like the animation a lot. The animation works on some modded mobs, but not all, such as it did not work on Chaos Awakens or Lycanites, and the mobs from these mods just instantly disappeared with not even the original vanilla death animation. It is likely mods need to manually integrate themselves with this mod. In the vanilla game, not all mobs seem to be fully affected by the animation (and just use the normal death animation), and baby mobs and bosses require you to enable the animations for them in the config, or else they also use the normal death animation. The death animation can also be a bit of a distraction in some cases. But if you like the death animation and want to play on 1.16.5 Forge it may be a good choice, especially if you have a ghost server. They also have 1.16.1, 1.15.2, 1.12.2, 1.10.2, 1.8, 1.7.x, and 1.6.4 versions if you want to play on older versions. This is a very good lightweight vanilla+ mod. The animations are quite similar to those in the Morph mod and the 2 mods are made by the same person, and Shatter has integration with the Morph Mod. If you get this mod you would probably also want to check out a few of ohaiiChun’s other mods, as they have lots of other good vanilla plus mods to enhance your game.

Mouse Tweaks

Mouse Tweaks is a very helpful utility mod that can be used to save a ton of time and effort while dealing with inventories and while manually moving and sorting items. The mod replaces the standard right mouse button dragging mechanic, and adds two new left mouse button dragging mechanics. It also adds the ability to use the mouse wheel to quickly move items. If you hold the right mouse button and hover an item stack over an empty slot, an item will put into the slot. In vanilla, only one item will be put into a slot, but with this mod installed, you can hover over a slot for the second time to add more items. Next, you select an item and drag it across the inventory while holding left click and all items of the same type will be picked up. And there's more. You can tweak all of these behaviours to liking using the configs. This mod offers versions for both Forge and Fabric. The download links given below will lead you to the official curseforge downloads page and you can download your required mod version. You can find more info regarding the configs and setting there too.

Explorer's Compass adds one new item into your game. This is a compass that you can craft using four cobwebs, four cracked stone bricks and a regular compass. This new compass, called the "Explorer's Compass", will help you locate structures around your Minecraft world. First, you have to hold an explorer's compass in your hand and right click. This will open a GUI that shows you a list of all of the structures in game. The list will also include structures added by mods(if any). From this list, you can left click a structure to select it and simply press the "Start Search" button to start a search operation that will locate the selected structure that's nearest to you and display it's coordinates.
